Radio presenter Micky Gavin is joining Malta's Smooth Radio to host Saturday mornings starting this weekend.

Micky moves to Smooth from Scotland's biggest radio stations, Clyde 1, Forth 1 and Northsound 1. He also previouly presented the flagship breakfast show on Radio Tay in Dundee.

He said: 'I am absolutely over the moon to be joining Malta's Smooth Radio on DAB+.

'Radio is so important right now in Malta, music is the ultimate mood-booster and my brand-new show is going to be packed with the most relaxing feel-good tunes.

'I can't wait to get behind the mic every Saturday morning on Smooth and hope you'll join me!'

Elsewhere on the schedule, Brian Ford is the new host of Sunday breakfast in a new time slot from 7am to 9am.
