‘I Choose’ career fair will kick off on Friday

A career fair titled "I Choose - Nagħżel il-Karriera Tiegħi", which is held every year, will begin on Friday.

The fair targets students from state, church and independent schools who have completed compulsory education, and aims to provide guidance to Form 5 students who would be receiving their MATSEC results. The fair is also open to Form 4 students who would want to start exploring career options now.

The educational fair will be held between Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 8pm and from 9am to 1pm respectively, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana.

The educational fair will also be open on Saturday from 9am to 1om at Excelsior Hotel, Floriana.

At the fair, there will be different presentations given by professionals from various related fields to assist both students and parents. It also features several discussions on various careers led by speakers and professionals from different sectors, including the private sector.

When this fair was being announced, Education Minister Clifton Grima congratulated those students who completed their exams and encouraged others who were aspiring for better results.

"The I Choose Fair is another opportunity that we provide every year for students to explore more career options and an excellent opportunity for students to gain adequate knowledge about the different courses they can pursue after compulsory education. It is a fair that guides students towards what the education sector offers to help them continue their education, as well as about emerging needs in the world of work," Grima said.

Parliamentary Secretary Keith Azzopardi Tanti spoke about the importance of providing the necessary guidance which will help students find the right career and produce quality work.
