Drainage overflow in the upper part of Birkirkara Road in St Julian’s is of concern to residents in the area as “we cannot even open a window”.
Reports have been filed with the competent authorities and the locality’s council since, but although some workers did turn last week, the problem remains.
Drainage is seeping into the culverts that were built to carry rainwater towards the valley, and bad smells emanate through the metal gratings.
