The Manchester United women’s football team will be in Malta again in January, and will be playing a friendly game against the PSV Eindhoven counterparts on 5 January, it was announced on Thursday.
The Manchester team will be in Malta between 3 and 8 January as part of a sponsorship agreement with VisitMalta.
A government statement said that in the first three months of the year, Malta will be hosting a number of clubs for training camps and tournaments. Teams will be coming from Germany, Czechia, Austria, Slovakia and Holland.
Some 12,500 bed nights will be generated through these visits.
