A cyclist was injured when the bike she was riding was involved in a crash with a quadbike, the police said.

The accident happened on Saturday at 2.45pm in Kuncizzjoni Street, Qala.

The cyclist, a 71-year-old German woman who resides min Ghajnsielem, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The quadbike rider, a 19-year-old Frenchman who resides in Kercem, was unhurt.
