The Malta Financial Services Authority on Thursday advised that the suspension of trading in the shares of LifeStar Holding plc was to continue until 29 May 2024 and this due to the failure of LifeStar Holding plc to publish its annual audited financial statements 2023, within the timeframes stipulated by law.
Before its change of name, LifeStar Holding plc was formerly known as GlobalCapital plc.
On 2 May, the MFSA had announced the suspension of trading in the Ordinary shares of LifeStar Insurance plc as well as its Unsecured Subordinated 2026-2031 corporate bond.
This suspension announced Thursday may be terminated prior to the expiration of the 10-day period should LifeStar Insurance plc publish the abovementioned documents in the interim.
In 2019 the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) had suspended the listing and trading of GlobalCapital shares after the company had failed to publish its annual report for 2018 within the stipulated timeframe.
