The Victor Pasmore Gallery has opened its doors with a new display of works by the artist titled The Eye & the Symbol.
An array of never-seen-before and familiar artworks by Pasmore are showcased, taking viewers on a journey that explores Pasmore's relationship with the Maltese islands through the diverse elements, mediums and materials he used during the three decades he spent living in Malta.
Art historian Giulia Privitelli will conduct a gallery tour to provide an in-depth understanding of Pasmore's work. The gallery tour will take place on 18 and 19 June and since limited spaces are available those interested need to send an email on [email protected] to check availability.
It will be open from Tuesdays to Thursdays between 10am and 5pm (last entry at 4pm), Fridays between 2 and 7pm (last entry at 6pm) and Saturdays between 10am and 3pm (last entry at 2pm). Tickets can be purchased at the door.
