Gemelli Gallery, at Tà Qali, is to host an exhibition called Trialogue in mid-July.  Three Maltese artists, while retaining their individuality, combine their various styles into a unified whole of intellectual aestheticism, exploring the representational and the abstract.  Gerald J. Micallef expresses introspective meditations on human vulnerability and resilience through contrast between dark and bright colours in impulsive shapes.  His metaphysical approach creates a connection between the human and the divine.  Human beings are at the centre, yet their loneliness yearns for a celestial connection.

Godwin Muscat Azzopardi's dramatic elemental scenes transcend reality and transmogrify into the mythical, and the mystical. His earth colours extend beyond the oil paint, and encapsulate moments in time.   Views that verge on the abstract have an elemental feel to them that adopts a universal appeal. 

Vanni Pulé uses mostly Maltese landscapes as his point of departure and deconstructs them with prismatic rays of apparently unnatural hues that he projects through his subconscious mind.  These tints give the paintings an impression viewed through a stained glass window warping our sense of reality. 

The exhibition will be launched at Gemelli Gallery, Ta'Qali on the evening of the 12^th July and will remain open until the 27^th July. The opening hours are 07.00 - 14.30 on weekdays and 09.00 - 12.00 on Saturdays.  On Wednesdays, it is open again between 17.00 and 19.00.
