The St Dorothy's class of 1974 joyously celebrated their 50th anniversary since leaving school.

Festivities commenced on 25 April as a group of former students gathered to plant a cypress tree at St Dorothy's School in Żebbuġ, marking the beginning of a nostalgic journey.

The following day, a large group of ex-alumni congregated for a special mass, presided over by the Mgr Claude Portelli, at the newly-refurbished chapel of St Dorothy's Convent in Mdina.

Following the service, all attendees convened in the cherished Blue Hall, where Sister Celia Agius Vadalà served coffee and biscuits, reigniting bonds forged decades ago.

Amid a backdrop of shared memories, laughter and heartfelt reunions, emotions surged, as friends embraced after years apart.

A heartfelt collection was gathered for Sr Annie Catania's noble mission in the Philippines, underscoring the enduring spirit of compassion and generosity within the group.

The camaraderie continued over a delightful lunch at a nearby restaurant, where tales of yesteryears mingled with promises of future connections. Indeed, a great time was had by all, reaffirming the timeless bonds forged within the class of '74.
