The 'Move Your Spirit' EuroCamp, organised by the Babylonie organisation, held from 14 to 23 July in Staré Hamry, in Moravia-Silesia, Czeck Republic was represented by six teenagers, members of the Salesian Oratory of Sliema.
Under Joe Camilleri's leadership, the group participated in a European youth exchange, co-funded by the European Commission programme, Erasmus+. The central theme was that of health at 360°, sporting-cultural activities and the topics dealing with the prevention of mental health problems, its connection to social media (Internet is Broken) and sleep hygiene.
Together with other young people from Germany, Italy, Serbia, Czech Republic, Cyprus and Poland they participated in activities such as workshops, icebreakers, energisers, visits to Frýdek-Místek and Ostrava, untraditional games, night games and national evenings.
Young members of the Oratory, representing both the Maltese Flag and the Sliema Salesian Oratory logo, rose to the occasion when participating in sport events, creativity initiatives and showcasing our country.
