Twenty-one artists are participating in Il-Vedutisti, a collective art exhibition, which is to be held at Il-Veduta, Rabat, Malta on Friday 15th November 2024. The participating artists, some of whom are well known, include Marisa Attard, Jeni Caruana, Carol Jaccarini Vanni Pulé, Richard Saliba, Thérèse Storace, and Maris Zammit.

The group was set up quite a few years ago, when most of them used to meet in Bahrija, under the tuition of Anton Calleja. After Anton called it a day, the group continued meeting regularly, on a Wednesday, and thus the name The Wednesday Art Group (the WAG) was adopted.

The WAG kept up the Wednesday meetings for a number of years in Marsascala, and later moved to Il-Veduta, in Rabat, kindly sponsored by Randolph Camilleri, managed by Myriam Darmanin, both of whom, also form part of the participating group of artists.  Hence the name of the exhibition.

Showcasing the paintings of these seasoned and talented artists, each diverse in their own way, Il-Vedutisti promises to be an interesting evening for one and all.
