On Sunday, 16 March between 10am and noon residents and visitors are invited to spend time at the historic Ta' Sopu coastal watchtower on the outskirts of Nadur, before enjoying an (optional) guided nature walk in the surrounding countryside and nearby park.
Explore the historic watchtower, dating from 1667 and join a free educational tour led by Din l-Art Ħelwa. The tours start at 10am and 10.30am.
Enjoy a guided 1km walk with Nature Trust - FEE Malta and learn about Gozo's flora and fauna starting out from the tower at 11am.
Event information for visitors
We recommend wearing suitable footwear with a good grip and ankle support, bring a drink, waterproof clothing, sunblock and a charged mobile phone or torch to fully explore the tower.
Photos and video footage may be taken by event organisers and shared via social media and websites. If you do not wish to give your consent, please alert event tour guides on the day.
Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. There are no public toilet facilities at the tower.

The event is free of charge, but a suggested donation of €5 to either Din l-Art Ħelwa or Nature Trust - FEE Malta are welcomed on the day or online via the NGO's websites.
