There were 431 people who were sentenced and serving their sentence in the Corradino Correctional Facility at the end of December 2024, Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri said as he responded to a parliamentary question posed by Nationalist Party MP Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici.

Mifsud Bonnici asked Camilleri how many people were in the Corradino Correctional Facility at the end of December 2024 who were sentenced and serving their sentence. The PN MP also asked the Home Affairs Minister how many people were in the correctional facility at the end of December 2024 who were waiting for their case to be decided and the process determined.

Camilleri replied that 268 people within the correctional facility were waiting for their case to be decided and the process determined at the end of the year 2024.
