The Malta Police Force has alerted the public to a scam email claiming to be from the Malta Police Force and Europol.

It said that this is a "fraudulent email."

"The email includes a fake document using official logos and signatures, alleging involvement in criminal activity and requesting the recipient to reply within 24 hours. This email is a scam!"

"If you received this email: Do not reply, click on any links, or download attachments. If you have received such an email, delete it immediately."
