A man was taken to hospital after he was allegedly injured with a sharp, pointed weapon during an argument.

Two other people who were involved in the argument suffered slight injuries.

The incident occurred at around 3.30am in an apartment block on Triq Ċensu Busuttil in Fgura. The argument is understood to have broken out between neighbours.

A medical team was called to the scene to assist the injured man, who was later taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.

The argument involved a three men aged 43, 41 and 38, and a 42-year-old Russian woman, who also lives in the town. 

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
