Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research, and Innovation Clifton Grima has officially inaugurated the new Connections Conference and Meeting Facilities at the Gian Frangisk Abela Junior College.

This project, a government statement said, represents a significant investment in the quality of education and the campus environment, providing students, lecturers, and the wider community with a high-tech space designed for seminars and professional gatherings. The facilities feature the latest audiovisual technology, flexible seating arrangements, and dedicated catering areas to support high-level events.

The total investment for the project reached approximately 55,000 euro, covering furniture and specialized equipment in addition to the structural modifications required to adapt the building.

Minister Grima highlighted that such investments in infrastructure are essential for creating inclusive environments that benefit both academic learning and community engagement. He noted that the project underscores a commitment to accessibility and innovation, ensuring the college remains a vibrant hub for academic exchange.

Principal Paul Xuereb expressed his gratitude to those involved and encouraged everyone to make the most of the new center. He also reminded prospective students that the college will be hosting an Open Day this Friday.

This event will allow interested individuals to explore the campus environment and learn more about the educational opportunities available at the Junior College. Further details regarding the college and its facilities can be found on its official website.
