More than 90% of voters who applied to cast their preference one week before the actual election cast their vote, the Electoral Commission said Sunday.
By 2pm Saturday, of the 16,402 voters, 9,722 or 59.27% cast their vote, the commission said. This went up to 14,818 voters, or 90.34% by the end of polling time at 10pm.
People who will be abroad or are set to have a medical intervention could apply to vote a week early.
