GWU Youths believe that Malta can be a trail-blazer in this project due to its geographical position and now that the two projects proposed by them have been approved by the EU youth programme, they can begin to focus on Euro-Mediterranean relations.

A number of activities will be organised in Malta and other Mediterranean countries. The collaboration centre, to be set up in Malta, is expected to offer a number of services to youth organisations in the region.

The GWU Youths has already confirmed a substantial budget to organise a conference, called IUVENIS 2004 dealing with the transition from school to the job world.

The organisation believes that society can contribute to the development of Euro-Mediterranean relationships in order to make the region more peaceful and prosperous.
