Louiselle Pace Gouder will be giving a concert at one of Malta’s leading heritage initiative the Bir Mula Heritage of 79, St Margerita Street, Cospicua, on Saturday at 7.30pm. Louiselle Pace Gouder will be accompanied by pianist and organist Romina Morrow. Ms Pace Gouder will be singing classical pieces from Handel, Tosti, Speaks, Puccini and Mascagni.
Ms Pace Gouder commenced her vocal training with Aerios Jones and Miriam Cauchi at the Johann Strauss School of Music, where she obtained a distinction in her final examination. Following this, she continued developing her vocal technique and interpretation under the tutelage of Antionette Migiani.
Ms Pace Gouder has recently had the opportunity to participate as a soprano soloist at the Carmelite church of St Julian’s and the Caravaggio exhibition held at the Caraffa Stores. She also participated at the Jeunesses Musicales held at the Chinese Cultural Centre, and the Concert for Promising Opera Singers held at Sala Isouard, Manoel Theatre.
Dr Morrow started her piano studies at a very early age under the guidance of Ms Fransina Abela. Dr Morrow performed as soloist as well as an accompanist in several musical events organised at the Manoel Theatre, the Mediterranean Conference Centre, the Russian Cultural Institute and St. James Cavalier. Under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Borg OSA, Dr Morrow is furthering her studies in pipe organ playing. She has been playing the pipe organ for the last 16 years and has given recitals and accompanied various artists and choirs at churches including the St John’s Co-Cathedral and St Paul’s Metropolitan Cathedral at Mdina.
