Celebratory Concert at Mdina Cathedral

A celebratory concert at the Mdina Cathedral to mark the 50th anniversary of the institution of the social security scheme in Malta will be held on Saturday 27 May at 7.30pm.

Held under the patronage of Dolores Cristina, Family and Social Solidarity Minister, the concert is being organised in collaboration with the Mdina Cathedral Metropolitan Chapter.

The public is invited to attend and admission is free of charge.

The programme includes compositions by Bach, Handel, Stanley, Clarke, Mozart, Caccini, Franck, Mascagni, and Verdi. All the scores are celebratory works for soprano, trumpet and organ and will feature John Aquilina on the organ, Jacqueline Micallef Grimaud, soprano, and Michael Pulis on the trumpet.

The concert will last approximately 70 minutes. The public is to be seated by 7.20pm.
