A man was slightly injured after being held-up by three persons in St Barbara Street, Rabat at around 2am yesterday morning.
Police reported that the robbers fired a warning shot before escaping empty-handed.
Magistrate Miriam Hayman was informed and appointed a number of experts to help with the inquiry.
District police are carrying out further investigations.
