A man was conditionally discharged for six months yesterday after admitting his part in a disturbance during the Marsaxlokk feast.
Marvin Fenech, aged 27, from Marsaxlokk, pleaded guilty to causing a ruckus at the Madonna ta’ Pompeii band club during the village festivities on Sunday night. He also pleaded guilty to breaking a hi-fi system, the property of the PN club in Marsaxlokk, worth over Lm500 and admitted breaching the peace and causing general wilful damage.
The court, presided over by magistrate Anthony Vella, conditionally discharged Fenech for six months.
Police inspector Joseph Agius prosecuted, while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
