Children, Look out for Mikiel at agenda bookshops

Mikiel, The Agenda Kids Club life-size mascot will be visiting a number of Agenda outlets in the coming days in order to meet with all his members and prospective members. Mikiel will also be giving out a small gift to all the children visiting the shops…be sure to look out for Mikiel at the following outlets while doing your Christmas shopping.

Mikiel, the intelligent fun loving character was introduced for the first time during the Kids’ Club launch party, where he participated heartily with the children throughout all the activities. The Agenda Kids Club is a new initiative that aims at promoting literacy, and at educating children about the importance of reading, while introducing other important issues such as increased awareness about environment and health issue, from a young age. The Club is open to all children aged between 3 and 12.

Children who become members of the Agenda Kids Club are entitled to special offers and discounts on children’s books, free entrance to and participation in fun filled events, free newsletters, free goodies upon registration and, most importantly, an insight into the wonderful and magical world of books.

Mikiel will be visiting the following Agenda outlets on 9 December at Pavi Supermarket, Qormi, between 11 am and 12 pm; 10 December at Topline Megastore, St Andrews, between 11am and 12 pm; 15 December at Embassy Shopping Complex, Valletta between 11 am and 12 pm, 16 December at Plaza Shopping Centre, Sliema between 6 pm and 7pm and 17 December at the Valletta Waterfront, between 1 pm and 2 pm.
