Middlesea Valletta Life (MSV) is sponsoring a children's art exhibition – “Art Without Borders” – which is being held at St James Cavalier until Sunday.
The exhibition, which is being organised by SCORP (Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace), a sub-committee of the MMSA (Malta Medical Students’ Association), is being held to mark World Human Rights Week.
Speaking about the sponsorship, MSV general manager David G. Curmi pointed out that the company is very pleased to be supporting this initiative. The art exhibition will display works by children of refugees with the rationale of promoting their artistic skills and to give them the opportunity to enjoy art.
The MMSA aims to improve relations between medical students and medical professionals, to educate medical students in order to serve as an example to others and to broaden their horizons through training and study, locally and abroad. The MMSA organises numerous events which include a Training and Resource Development Weekend, World AIDS Day, World Diabetes Day and World Peace Day activities. It also issues publications such as Med. Dic., an English-Maltese and Maltese-English dictionary of commonly used medical terms and Murmur, an annual magazine distributed to medical students and professionals.
