All prices of properties marketed by Dhalia Real Estate Services are being displayed in both Maltese lira and euro.
The dual display of prices follows Dhalia’s recent agreement to join the Fair Agreements in Retail (FAIR) launched by the National Euro Changerover Committee last month.
Dhalia was among the first companies to join the FAIR initiative as the company immediately recognised the importance of dual pricing before it becomes mandatory in July 2007
Throughout the coming months, Dhalia will be also be displaying on all its branches and advertising campaigns, the trust mark given by the NECC as a guarantee that the company is trustworthy and committed to serve its customers in the best possible way.
Dhalia’s chairman and CEO Franco Valletta praised NECC for this initiative, as dual pricing is a means of informing and educating the public about the new currency to be adopted in 2008.
Furthermore, dual pricing from such an early stage will help instil consumer confidence in the market. Mr Valletta added that, once the euro is adopted, Dhalia will ensure that the conversion of prices will be fair and in line with the policies stipulated by the NECC.
