BOV Club members who top up their mobile phone through the Mobile Phone Top-Up Service available from BOV up to 15 February stand a chance to win a number of attractive prizes.

“This latest promotion launched by Bank of Valletta for students is designed to offer added value while promoting a more straightforward and efficient way of topping up the mobile phone account,” said Alan Cassar, Executive Head of Sales and Marketing at Bank of Valletta. “For every Lm10 top up of their vodafone or go mobile account, students will be given a stake in a lottery with 20 prizes to be drawn. 10 go mobile subscribers will win a go live! pack consisting of an MMS phone and Lm5 free talk-time. Concurrently, 10 Vodafone subscribers will receive a 3G phone and six months of free access on the Vodafone Max Value Student Plan,” announced Mr Cassar. The winners will be informed via SMS within a week of the draw date.

Subscribers to the Mobile Phone Top-Up Service available from BOV can top up their phone with Lm10 by sending an sms on the number 5061-1910. Top-ups of Lm2, Lm5 and Lm20 can also be made by sending an sms on numbers 5061-1902, 5061-1905 and 5061-1920 respectively.

“The Mobile Phone Top-Up Service available through the bank is proving to be very popular with our customers,” said Alan Cassar. “All it takes is sending an sms and the mobile phone is topped up with the funds being debited directly to the customer’s BOV bank account. Effectively, this service, which we offer free of charge locally (when travelling abroad, the normal SMS roaming charges apply), enables our customers to top up their mobile phone from anywhere they are, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day,” added Mr Cassar.

To register for this Mobile Top-Up Service customers can complete an application available on the bank’s website – www.bov.com. BOV Internet Banking subscribers can apply directly from the BOV Internet Banking platform.
