Vodafone Malta Limited is proud to announce its participation in the National Euro Changeover Committee’s Fair initiative.
Participation in the Fair initiative is a commitment by Vodafone to keep all customers informed about the dual-pricing display system and to ensure that the pricing process remains entirely fair throughout the euro changeover period.
During the coming months, Vodafone will start displaying its invoices, credit balance, top-up vouchers, handsets, accessories and website information in dual currency.
Vodafone has been authorised by the National Euro Changeover Committee to display a FAIR sticker at all its Retail Outlets and on promotional material as evidence of the company’s commitment to customers. The Fair trust mark provides customers and the general public with a guarantee that Vodafone is committed to serving their best interests.
Only a select number of businesses are allowed to use the Fair trust mark. These are organisations that have satisfied the National Euro Changeover Committee’s criteria.
The trust mark is part of a programme aiming to ensure that retailers do not increase prices unfairly in the run-up to the introduction of the single currency.
They commit to implementing correct dual display in Maltese lira and in euro during the voluntary dual display period.
Vodafone staff members have been given in-depth training, which was held in conjunction with the National Euro Changeover Committee.
