The Department for Local Government wishes to inform that in cases of difficulties encountered when submitting a payment of contravention online, one should either call on 2331-8200 or send an email to [email protected]. Persons wishing to make online payments can do so by accessing the government portal on www.gov.mt, clicking the button on the left marked Local Enforcement System and then accessing the Pay a Contravention button wherein all details indicated in the pop-up box are to be inserted.

It is also being notified that any complaints or suggestions for improvement of the local enforcement system, in particular as regards systems and procedures that cause an inconvenience, should be sent to the Chairman, Local Enforcement System Committee, c/o 25 Archbishop Street, Valletta VLT 1443.
