A delegation from the International Red Cross Movement will be visiting the Malta Red Cross Society from today till 21 February in connection with refugees and other immigration affairs.

The delegation will be composed of Bernard Schneider, Co-Chairman of PERCO (Platform for European Red Cross Cooperation of Refugees, Asylum-seekers and Migrants) – Austrian Red Cross; and Hans Beat Moser, Head of Migration Department – Swiss Red Cross.

The delegation will be visiting closed and open refugee centres where refugees and other immigrants are residing, in order to assess past and future aids to the Malta Red Cross in its humanitarian work for these people.
