The health services section of the Union Haddiema Maghqudin believes that ambulance drivers in Gozo are not being treated well by the authorities.

In a statement, the union said that in Malta, ambulance drivers work on a different roster system than their Gozitan counterparts, and this meant lower earnings for the Gozitan drivers.

The union said the Gozo Ministry agreed with this line of thinking. What had been agreed to with Maltese authorities has not been implemented and the union said it was prepared to take all action necessary to defend the rights of the Gozitan ambulance drivers.
