The English language school company, EC, has expanded further overseas with the acquisition of Boston Language College in Cape Town, South Africa.
The move marks EC’s first acquisition outside Europe and is in line with the company’s strategy of taking its brand of English language tuition to new growth destinations.
CEO Andrew Mangion said that EC was excited to have a presence on the African continent and that EC Cape Town was the start of further international expansion for the group in the near future. ”Boston Language College has worked hard to establish itself over the last four years and we are proud to be taking this establishment into a new era as part of a dynamic group expanding to cover global reach in the English language market.”
Boston Language College, which has been re-branded EC Cape Town, joins EC’s growing portfolio of schools which currently comprises London, Cambridge and Brighton in the UK, and, with its largest and first school, Malta.
Malta is also the location of EC’s headquarters.
Along with its regular suite of marketing material, EC has produced an attractive, 20-page brochure to promote EC Cape Town. The brochure provides agents and prospective students with full programme details as well as practical visitor information. It is available at: www.ecenglish.com.
