A 35-year-old woman was charged yesterday with trafficking in and possessing heroin.
Grace Cini from Fgura, pleaded not guilty to committing the offence on Tuesday and during the preceding three months.
She was denied bail and remanded in custody.
Magistrate Lawrence Quintano presided over the court. Police Inspector Nadia Lanzon prosecuted and Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
