A 16-year-old girl yesterday pleaded not guilty to attempting to grievously injure two police officers and slightly injuring them.
Before magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona, the Birzebbuga girl was also charged with resisting arrest, insulting and threatening them, assaulting the two officers and a policewoman, causing less than Lm10 in damages to the detriment of the government and breaching the peace in her hometown on 15 April at 5am.
Police Inspector Johann Fenech led the prosecution while Dr José Herrera and Veronique Dalli appeared for the minor.
