John Udagha Omeh, a 39-year-old Nigerian, was remanded in custody yesterday after being charged with importing and dealing in three kilograms of cocaine.
Before magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona, the man pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him. He was remanded in custody.
Police Inspector Victor Aquilina led the prosecution while lawyer Mark Busuttil appeared for the Nigerian.
