A 73-year-old man from Birkirkara was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Monday evening when he was hit by a Renault, driven by a 33-year-old from Qormi, in Fleur de Lys Road, Birkirkara.
The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries but was not in critical condition.
