Heritage Malta, which had a huge demand for the next heritage trail on early Christianity in Malta, said the event was fully booked within hours. It is as a result allocating a limited number of additional places for the event being held on Sunday.

The heritage trail will be taking participants to a number of sites associated with early Christianity which are not normally open to the public. The sites include San Pawl Milqi in Burmarrad, Bistra Catacombs in Mosta and the Jewish section of St Paul’s Catacombs in Rabat.

Transport for the activity departs from in front of the Phoenicia Hotel at 9am, returning at about 1pm. Tickets costing e15 (Lm6.44) can be obtained from Ms Judy Camilleri at the Heritage Malta head office in Merchants Street, Valletta. Only persons aged 12 years and over are allowed. Heritage Malta members pay e10 (Lm4.29).

The next heritage trail is planned for 13 April and will focus on early man in Malta.
