Italian jewelry brand Damiani has lent its long standing tradition to the latest movie blockbuster Angels & Demons by creating a special jewellery collection, aptly baptised the Angeli & Demoni Collection for the Tom Hanks film, based on the Dan Brown novel.

Damiani have in fact partnered with costume designer Daniel Orlandi to create the jewellery which includes rosaries and crosses, worn by some of the prominent characters in the movie including the character of Vittoria Vetra, played by Jewish actress Ayelet Zurer (pictured left).

Silvia Damiani says she drew inspiration from the mystery and emotions that surround the story, and worked with costume designer Daniel Orlandi to research traditional symbols in historical documents. Although the pieces were made specifically for the film, Damiani has also drawn inspiration from the movie to create the new Angeli & Demoni collection of crosses, necklaces, and rosary beads in yellow and rose gold with onyx or enamel.

Last month, Silvia Damiani (pictured right) joined other celebrities for the premiere of the movie Angels & Demons held in Rome’s Auditorium Parco Della Musica, just a stone’s throw away from the Vatican where most of the movie’s plot is located.

Damiani will now be officially launching the movie inspired collection at the Couture Trade Show in Las Vegas at the end of this month.
