Nicola Muscat was on top form during the ASA Swimming Time Trials held on Wednesday at the National Pool, Tal-Qroqq.

Nicola Muscat, who forms part of the ASA national team, continued to improve her own national record she set in the 50m fly last April in 29.70 when she clocked 29.27. She also erased the national record set by Madeleine Scerri in the 50m free set during the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008 in a time of 27.29 when she clocked 27.16.

Nikki also continued to improve on her own age group records when she improved the 100m freestyle from 59.62 to 59.02 and the 100m backstroke from 1.08.91 to 1:08.15.

Daniel Galea, Neil Muscat, Amy Micallef and Matthew Zammit broke Age-Group records as well.
