A new NSO website has been launched.

In designing the website, NSO has endeavoured to meet the changing needs and expectations of users. Additionally NSO hopes to attract new usage of the website. 

The layout is straightforward and uncluttered, characterised by a logical presentation of online content and easy navigation from one section to another.

New features include:

- a revamped statistical database at: http://nso.gov.mt/statdb

- a dedicated metadata website at: http://nso.gov.mt/metadata

- a data visualisation tool at: http://nso.gov.mt/en/Services/STATAMAP/Pages/STATAMAP.aspx

While the root URL of the website remains http://nso.gov.mt, there are naturally URL changes to the sub-sites, and users would need to update their bookmarks. All efforts are being made to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.
