Just under 1,000 people people made use of methadone service last year, Social Policy Minister Michael Farrugia said this evening.
Replying to a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Claudio Grech, Dr Farrugia said the total was 973. Two of those who used the service were 19 or younger, 194 were aged between 20 and 29, 455 between 30 and 39, 248 between 40 and 49, 62 between 50 and 59 and 12 were 60 or older.
