Somali pleads not guilty to trying to steal a laptop from a uniformed police officer

A 22-year-old man from Somalia is charged with attempting to steal a laptop worth around €900 from a uniformed police officer in Hamrun on February 9, 2016.

Abiib Adan Hamze, 22 years old, requested bail, however it was denied.

The police officer had gone to pick-up his laptop from inside his car, and began walking towards Arms Ltd in Hamrun, when the accused allegedly tried to steal the case containing the laptop.
