A new health centre was inaugurated in Gudja today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Chris Fearne and Parliamentary Secretary for Communities Alex Muscat.

The press were not invited to this event.

This centre will open daily from Monday to Friday and will offer different services. Among them, will be GP services, a nursing clinic, physiotherapy, podiatry and blood donations.

Fearne spoke of the government investing in modern health centres aimed at community healthcare.

The centres around the country are important, he said, even in the fight against Covid-19.
