A man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash in a hold-up in Fgura on Thursday evening, the police said.

In a statement, the police said that the man, wearing a hoodie and carrying a knife, approached a woman from The Philippines who resides in Fgura and demanded money.

He made off with the cash. The woman, aged 25, was unhurt.

The police are investigating.
