Covid-19: 33 new cases registered, vaccination doses edge closer to 300,000

Thirty-three new Covid-19 cases were registered, while the number of vaccination doses is edging closer to 300,000.

Health authorities said today that there were no Covid related deaths, with the number of victims remaining at 411.

In all, 30,096 cases have been registered in Malta, with 29,166 recoveries, including 36 today.

There were 2,129 swab tests carried out, for a total of 853,286.

Until yesterday, vaccination doses amounted to 295,587, of which 93,727 were second doses.

At 6,790 vaccine doses, this is the highest number of doses administered in a single day.
