Messages indicating that people over 40 can turn up at health centres to get vaccinated without an appointment are fake, health authorities told The Malta Independent.
Over the past hours people have received messages that as from today and for the next 10 days anyone over 40 can go to health centres between 10am and 1pm to get the Pfizer vaccine.
This is absolutely not true, health authorities told The Malta Independent. People over 40 need to register online before they receive the date and time for their appointment.
People should stop spreading fake information as this could hamper the vaccination programme, the authorities said.
