A woman was taken to hospital on Sunday after a fall at Gnejna, the police said.

Members of the Civil Protection Department were sent on site to assist the woman because the place where she fell was not easily accessible.

The woman, aged 32 of Valletta, was then given first assistance by a medical team before being taken to hospital.

The accident happened at around 1.30pm.
