The number of new Covid-19 cases has dropped to just five today, health authorities said.

The number of active cases has now falled to below 200, dipping to 192 after 17 patients recovered.

In all, Malta has registered 30,469 Covid-19 cases, with 29,860 patients who have recovered.

No deaths were again recorded, for the total to remain at 417.

Swab tests reached 2,170 in the last 24 hours, for a total of 889,079.

Malta is edging closer to 400,000 vaccination doses. So far, 392,929 were administered, of which 268,118 were firsty doses while 127,555 people are now fully vaccinated.
