A man was grievously hurt on Friday evening after he was hit by a car, the police said.
The accident took place in Ferrovija Street, Santa Venera, at 8.30pm.
The 56-year-old pedestrian was hit by a Toyota Ractis driven by a 61-year-old man of Balzan.
He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
