DF Advocates partner Kevin Deguara said that no lawyer in the firm is involved in the investigation..

"The magisterial inquiry does not relate to, nor does it involve, any lawyer within our law firm personally," Deguara said.

He said that while lawyer-client privilege stops them from providing further details, it is "most disconcerting to find ourselves to be the subject of a blog post full of malicious inferences, reporting factually incorrect information and making prejudicial allegations against our firm," he said.

This was in reference to a post carried on manueldelia.com.

Deguara said that his law firms involvement in the concession was only as legal advisors to the VGH group companies.

He refuted allegations that the firm or lawyers working with it had links to Keith Schembri, the former Chief of Staff to Joseph Muscat, or any of his business interests.
