A 64-year-old man has become the 469th person to die while positive for Covid-19 in Malta, as the country reported 81 new cases of the virus on Thursday.
107 people have recovered, meaning that the number of active cases has decreased to 1,336.
27 patients are currently receiving treatment at Mater Dei Hospital, with four of those in intensive care.
981,712 doses of the vaccine have been administered so far, with 143,935 of those being booster doses.
Malta has had 40,177 cases of the virus so far. 38,053 of those have recovered, while 469 have died.
